Hitting Atlanta’s great outdoors on MARTA

You don’t need boodles of money to make the most of summer, just a MARTA Breeze card and a bit of imagination.

For Creative Loafing Atlanta’s 2013 Summer Guide my buddy Noah and I hit the great outdoors using nothing but metro Atlanta public transit. From camping in Adairs Park to kayaking the Chattahoochee River, it turns out there’s not much you can’t do if you strap on your hiking boots and go for it.

OK, so we actually blew our $200 budget by $0.36, but in the end we didn’t care. CL reimbursed our expenses.
